Class Description

This class will teach you the essential computer basics that will serve as a foundation to your journey of mastering technology!

Technology no longer exists in one corner of our home or specialized workplaces. Developments in technology have made the use of cellphones, computers and the internet a necessity. While this change has made many processes more efficient, it can also create a big gap in our lives if you are not informed on how to use it. 

This class serves to make students aware of the way you may see technology used at stores, public transport and in the workplace while providing the skills needed to jump in and start using them in their own lives.  

Learning Outcomes

1. Students will be able to identify all the parts of a computer and corresponding vocabulary

2. Students will gain familiarity with typing and the functions of standard QWERTY keyboard 

3. Students will gain knowledge on using apps more efficiently and effectively
