Computer Basics 2 - Intermediate

Course Details:

 This class introduces key concepts of cloud services and data storage, helping students understand where their data lives and how it is accessed. We will also explore common online scams and practical strategies for avoiding them, empowering students to navigate the internet safely and confidently.

Learning Outcomes: 

1. Students will learn to identify sensitive information that needs protection and demonstrate strategies for safeguarding personal, financial, and digital data.

2. Students will recognize and avoid online scams by identifying common scam tactics such as phishing, fake websites, and social engineering, and applying safe online practices.

3. Students will apply basic cybersecurity tools and practices, including multifactor authentication, strong passwords, and security updates.
